Summer Fayre 2010 North Camp Summer Fayre 2010

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT !!!!!!!!!

The 2010 North Camp Summer Fayre will take place on 26th June from Noon until 4pm. As usual this year’s Summer Fayre 2010 (SF10) will take place in the Recreation Ground in Queen’s Road, North Camp. It is hoped that it will be preceded by the traditional Carnival Procession.

We want this to be an enjoyable and affordable day out for everyone in our community.

We also want SF10 to raise awareness of just how much is available in North Camp and hope that as many groups as possible will take part.

The afternoon of activities in Queen's Road Recreation Ground will include Arena events and all the fun of the fair with fun fair rides, side stalls and lots more. If there is enough support a car boot sale may also take place.

NCMCA are forming a subcommittee to organise SF10 using the same approach that was successfully used last year for SF09. We are keen to involve as many local groups and individuals as possible. You do not need to be a member of NCMCA to join the sub committee. We are pleased to say that while NCMCA is taking the lead in SF10, Rushmoor Borough Council is actively supporting us.

We invite suggestions for the theme for SF10. The subcommittee will select the one to be used.

If you are interested in helping us organise the Fayre, either as an individual or as a member of a local group, please contact us as described below.

If you are interested in taking part In the Fayre as a stall holder, or maybe in the procession (If held) or the car boot sale (if held) please let us know.

More details, and booking forms, will be made available once the subcommittee has met.

Please email sf10.mdpalmer@hotmail.co.uk to offer help, to express interest in taking part in the Fayre/Procession/Car Boot, or to ask for more information.

Hon Chairman, NCMCA
