Sponsor an award-winning roundabout!
Businesses in Aldershot and Farnborough are being invited by Rushmoor Borough Council to sponsor one of Rushmoor’s award winning roundabouts.
The council offers up 18 of the borough’s roundabouts for sponsorship, giving local companies the opportunity to get involved with the Rushmoor in Bloom campaign.
Four roundabouts are currently available for sponsorship. These are:
- Wellington Avenue roundabout, Aldershot
- NAFFI roundabout, Aldershot
- Station Road roundabout, Aldershot
- Westheath roundabout, Farnborough
Sponsorship is available for up to three years and includes professionally written signage showing the company logo.
Susan Jones, Rushmoor in Bloom Co-ordinator at Rushmoor Borough Council said: “The roundabout sponsorship scheme provides an excellent opportunity for local companies to sponsor the Rushmoor in Bloom campaign and show their commitment to the community whilst highlighting their presence in the area with this unique advertising opportunity.”
In 2007, Rushmoor was rewarded with a prestigious Silver Gilt in the annual South & South East in Bloom competition.
Susan adds: “Rushmoor in Bloom is an extremely popular, high profile event and our residents are very proud of the borough’s floral displays, roundabouts and open spaces”.
Ann Saunders from Woodford Stauffer Solicitors (pictured) who sponsor the St Albans roundabout in Farnborough said: “We have supported this roundabout for many years and think of it as our own! We all pass the roundabout every day and we take an interest and enjoy the forever changes in planting throughout the year. It is also a great landmark for us when directing clients to our offices.”
Other available sponsorship opportunities available include hanging baskets, town centre planters and tree planting schemes.
