Parent Action Group for special play

“Every child has a right to play”

Do you know someone with a child/young person who is disabled?
Do they struggle to find appropriate play provision?

We are a Community Action Group and are registered with Rushmoor Voluntary Services. As an independent voluntary Group, we are able to apply for pots of funding that have been set up specifically to serve local communities. With these types of funding we would like to:

• Develop new opportunities including play provision for the over 12’s.
• Enable the Special Needs and Siblings Summer Scheme to continue running. There is only one year left of secured funding for this scheme.
• Run more one-off events.

Our objective is very simple: -

“To increase the amount of play provision for children and young people with disabilities in the Borough of Rushmoor and local areas”

P.A.G for Special Play is open to new members and we welcome you at any of our meetings/events and would appreciate any help or ideas that you may have.

The Parent Action group took part in the North Camp FilmFest last year and won first prize for costumes from the film Shrek 2.
