Play area in North Camp receives top safety award

The play area in Queens Road Recreation ground, North Camp, has today received the RoSPA 5 Star Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

RoSPA said that "The award is the ultimate testimonial to your authority's commitment to the provision of good child play opportunities and inclusion for disabled people". The award is the highest you can receive.

Sharon Lucas of from the North Camp Matters Association and Pippins Pre School said 'We are all really pleased with this award'.
