One missing after suspicious fire
Fire crews have still not been able to confirm
if a person has died in a suspicious house fire in Hampshire.
Crews were called to the semi-detached property
in Somerset Road, Farnborough, in the early hours of the morning.
Police said they believed the occupier had been in
the building, but could not confirm if the fire was fatal as they
had been unable to gain access.
The cause of the fire, which has left the building
unstable, is unknown but police are treating it as suspicious.
It took six fire crews more than five hours to extinguish
the blaze and several roads in the area also had to be closed.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "Only
when fire crews and the police can safely access the property will
they be able to confirm if anyone was in the building, however
it is currently believed the occupant was present in the property.

"A full fire investigation will be undertaken
over the next few days to identify the cause of the fire."
