NORTH CAMP VILLAGE IS ONLINE!

North Camp Village, an area of Farnborough with approximately 5000 residents and over 300 shops and businesses, has now joined many other similar communities across the UK by launching a website.

In order to maintain the pace of growth of the area over recent years and the number of businesses now on the internet, a requirement was there to advertise North Camp Village via this ever popular medium.

With the vast range of traditional and specialist businesses and the strong community spirit, we hope the site will not only bring new families and traders into this prosperous area but also serve as an information point for local residents and businesses.

The site is now online and fully operational and contains at present over two hundred pages with this number ever increasing. Eventually every business in the area will be listed on the site, (At present there are approximately 300), via either a standard free listing or by having their own page within the site.

Community and Business Web Forum
The site’s most interactive aspect is the web forum. Completely free for all to use, the forum has many topics and discussions to comment on and anybody can start new discussion threads to gauge feeling on any number of local issues. There are also threads for people to advertise their local events and clubs as well as general classified items such as for sale/wanted, lost & found etc.

The forum is one of the main points we want to get across to the community to use as much as possible.

The large number of eateries in the North Camp Village area are all listed on the site, including Restaurants, Takeaways, Sandwich Bars, Cafes and Coffee Shops. Also listed are the local Hotels and Bed & Breakfasts that are spread over this part of Farnborough.

The site includes a large range of local information such as Schools, Crèches, Clubs, Societies, Places of Worship, News, Classifieds, Notice Board, Transport Links, information for 11 to 18 year olds, local history, picture gallery, as well as contact numbers and emergency information.

There are strong links to Residential and Commercial properties available to let or purchase in the area, as well as a business news and information page.

Website standard extras include bookmark us, link exchange, guestbook and contact form.

Also present is an NCMA sub-site which outlines the goals, aims and achievements of the North Camp Matters Association.

The site has been designed and built by Steve Optix who is a part of Brenda’s Schoolwear and also runs North Camp Web Services Limited. The site will be updated as and when necessary and the local residents and traders are encouraged to send in as much information, news, notices, events etc to be posted on the site.

Please feel free to use screenshots from the site for publication

This site bears no relation to the previous www.northcamp.co.uk which was online briefly a few years ago.
