Army Show

New 2011 show - Saturday 2nd July 2011

In 2009 the last Aldershot Army Show once again proved to be a huge sucess, with over 35,000 people visiting the show on the 5th and 6th July/ There was fun for all the family with spectacular arena displays, over 200 traders and exhibitors, a grand display of British military vehicles and much more.

The 2011 Show is expected to attract over 20,000 visitors and will again feature the largest display of Army assets in the country.

An exhilarating programme featuring:

  • The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment Freefall Parachute Display Team
  • The Royal Artillery Motorcycle Display Team, the famous Flying Gunners
  • The Band of the Army Air Corps
  • Additional displays yet to be finalised

Farnborough Air Show

The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) is one of the world's most iconic global aviation events. FIA holds a prominent position within the aerospace calendar taking place on a biennial basis (once every two years) for one week in July. The first five days of the exhibition are traditionally trade days only, followed by a weekend where the show is opened up to the public. 

The most recent FIA took place from 19-25 July 2010 and was a spectacular success for business with US$47 billion worth of orders announced during the trade week. The event also featured 152 aircraft in static displays and spectacular flying displays and the public weekend attracted a more than 108,000 visitors.

Farnborough AIr Sciences Trust

 

Farnborough Air Sciences Museum situated in Trenchard House, 85 Farnborough Road, Farnborough, Hants GU14 6TF, is now open to the public at weekends. Saturday and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm.

It is located on the A325, adjacent to the old RAE South Gate.

Farnborough Bowl is located within Farnborough Leisure Centre. There is a 10 lane Tenpin Bowling facility which is fantastic fun for all occasions for family, friends or work colleagues of all ages.
