Retained Firefighter Recruitment Evening
THE
FIRE STATION
LYNCHFORD ROAD, FARNBOROUGH
7pm
- 9pm 4th April 2005
We are
looking for men and women who are available & can give cover
as Retained Firefighters at Rushmoor Fire Station.
The
Retaines Crew supplements the Wholetime Crews and is required 24
hours every day. Retained Firefighters may provide either all or
part of the 24 hour period (24hr/day/nights & weekends).
Retained
Firefighters receive both initial and ongoing weekly training in
all aspects of the role. They are also paid a Retaining fee and
thereafter pro-rata Wholetime Equivalent earnings.
To become
a Retained Firefighter you must be able to respond to the fire
station within 4 minutes, be fit, healthy and aged between 18 & 55
years with good eyesight.
