Farnborough Not Forgotten Club
What we do . . .
The Farnborough Not Forgotten Club is a small charity which exists primarily to provide some comfort and cheer to elderly people living in the Farnborough Hampshire area particularly at Christmas time, mainly by providing them with Christmas hampers. Those who continue to live in their own homes and who may be lonely and or needy are especially sought out.
Other groups and organisations are also helped on a regular or occasional basis.
Carol singing . . .
In the run-up to Christmas each year we organise an ad-hoc "choir" of supporters to sing carols for the residents at a number of the retirement homes and hospitals in the area. You are invited to come along and join in with us - being involved is far more important than any ability to sing. Our efforts seem always to be enthusiastically appreciated. Just be there - we look forward to welcoming you to the merry-making!
Also we obtain and donate the Christmas Trees to many of the homes in the area together with some party cheer. Christmas gifts are also provided to orphanages in the area. Other charities, hospices and deserving causes are helped from time to time.
