Introducing the Odyssea above ground pool made from Northern Pine
Pool, Overlap Liner, Standard Sand Filter & Pump, Standard Skimmer, Hard Plumb Kit, Ladder and Chemical Starter Kit

From the finest fir heavily treated in wood preserver (guaranteed for ten years). The octagonal shape with heavy tunnel and grove, joined into place makes the construction of the Odyssea Pool stronger than cement pools.

The Odyssea pools sit on a reinforced cement pad slightly wider than the pool its self of between 4/5 inches. The cement base is then skimmed with another cement compound to gain a smooth finish. An anti-bacteria inch thick matting is then placed covering the complete area on the inner pool. Heavy duty vinyl is then clipped to the completed inner wall and floor. The stainless inner ladder is put into place and now the pool is ready to be filled.

Depending on the size of the pool once the cement pad is in place and cured the construction of the pool takes less than 5 hours for the small pool (ref 350001) to the largest pool between 7/9 hours (ref 350016).
Again depending on size and the mass of water required swimming can take place within a day or two of the pool being filled.

The pump and filter supplied with all pools will filter the 12 cubic meters of water every one and half hours. The small pool needs 11 cubic meters of water and the largest pool requires 37 meters of water.

The pools can be set below ground but no more than 50% of its height and protection of the wood must be made to protect the wood in wet weather by. This is done by heavy plastic sheet before infilling.

Another advantage of the Odyssea Pool all tubes and pipes are exposed from the pump and motor to the pool. Camouflage by means of landscaping hides them but do not bury them. If in need of repair it becomes a simple and cost saving advantage over other pools.

Everything is supplied with the Odyssea Pool at no extra cost. The only cost to the purchaser is the cement pad, electric supply to within 2 metres of the pool and the cost of filling.

Landscaping can be completed at the purchase pleasure. It is recommended as with all pools that shower facilities are put in place at the side of the pool once in use.

The heavy duty pump and filter will look after the pool and weekly care by adding the required levels of chemicals is all that’s required.

Summer covering and winter covers are supplied within the cost to help you maintain the pool when not in use.
In fact the package offered to you requires nothing more than the lilo to flout on and the nice cool drink.

Standard Odyssea package includes:

Problems with conventional pools In Spain.

CEMENT……..with extreme weather conditions at times and earth quakes that maybe small the earth is moving all the time. Heavy rain fall that can last many hours into days can very easy find a path to travel beneath the surface creating in its path underground channels, what is above becomes weaken.

An average pool 8mt x 5 mt 2 mt deep contain in excess of 40 tons of water. Construction of cement pools must in every stage be constructed properly. Unless the cement is vibrated as its poured, it will leave pockets of air. The pressure of the water will in a short period of time cause the wall to collapse or crack. No matter how much reinforcement of metal incorporated during construction, it will not stop cracks and cracks invisible to eye due to ceramic tiling can not be seen by the eye. The first sign to the holder of the pool is a steady loss of water from the pool, then damp patches appearing. Your investment of many thousands of euros has now been wasted.

Fibre glass pools can be prone to rot from the high alkaline and acid in the earth.

Fibreglass must sit on a bed of soft sand again that pool depending on size will have 40 tons of water. If during construction there is a small pebble under it, the pressure in a short period of time will rupture the skin and major work must be done to repair it.

Again extreme weather conditions can crack the fibre or again heavy rain can find its way under the pool and wash away the sand supporting the base. If this happens the pool is sitting on air and with the amount of pressure sitting in the pool the pool could crack in half again leaving your investment worthless.

Another thing that must be considered, in both the cement pool and the fibreglass pool.
All pipe work associated with these pools are hidden under piles of earth, cement and ceramic tiles. If there happens to be a rupture no matter how small water will leak, where there is a leak earth is washed away. Again major work must be done to make repairs costing again several thousands of euros only to face with these problems again in the future.
I agree that once a pool is completed they look good but nature has always found a way of destroying mans work sooner than later.

Odyssea pools are part of nature and blend into nature. Odyssea Pools help to enhance nature in the best way possible
